Naked Truth Star Learns Dancing Tricks at Secrets

In preparation for her forthcoming play ‘The Naked Truth’, Abi Titmuss has been taking some lessons in pole dancing at one of London’s premier lap dancing clubs, Secrets.

The star decided to learn from some of Secrets professional dancers as part of her research for the role of a pole-dancing instructor. As part of the gruelling rehearsals for the play, Ms Titmuss decided that it would give her a better insight into how the dancers move and perform on stage.

Secrets were happy to help the star out and invited her to one of their venues where she spent time being put through her paces by staff at the club.

On the subject, Viv Turner of Secrets Marketing stated:

“Abi wanted to make sure she understood the subtle nuances that are used to make each dance special. Pole-dancing can be extremely energetic and hard work therefore proper preparation is an absolute must.”

Alongside stars Lisa Riley and Julie Buckfield, Ms Titmuss will play the role of Gaby, a pole dancing instructor. The play opens at the Epsom Playhouse on March 30th 2009. The role will be Ms Titmuss’ latest in a series of performances from the nurse turned actress.

She has performed in a series of plays and won an award for her role in Arthur Millers ‘Two Way Mirror’. However, this latest role is more mainstream and deals with a group of characters learning the art of pole dancing.

Viv Turner further commented:

“Abi seems perfect for the role and she has worked hard to shed her old image as a good time girl. She is taking acting extremely seriously and we at Secrets wish her the best of luck.”

Anyone wanting to see the play can buy tickets for the performance at the end of the month. If however, you are interested in seeing where Ms Titmuss learned to dance, why not visit www.secrets-clubs.com.

Secrets Support Cross Channel Rowing Team in aid of Help for Heroes

Secrets are proud to have supported a paraplegic soldier’s epic journey across the English Channel.

Major Phil Packer, who received his injuries while serving as a Military Police Officer in Basra, performed this row with adventurer Alistair Humphreys. The pair took part in aid of the Help for Heroes charity, which is close to Major Packer’s heart.

Before embarking on the trip, Major Packer sported a Secrets T-shirt and even had the Secrets logo emblazoned on the side of his boat, well, at least until the waves got the better of them. The pair of rowers completed the journey in around 15 hours, which is good going especially since they had only been training together for one month.

Once the trip was completed, Major Packer exclaimed to news crews that when he got home all he wanted to do was have a bath and relax. However, Major Packer will not be able to relax for too long since his next big event is taking part in this years London Marathon.

Speaking to members of the press, Major Packer commented:

“I’m very happy and relieved but tired. My rowing partner has been fantastic, I owe him a huge debt of gratitude.”

Secrets Clubs were more than happy to help support this worthwhile event that hopes to contribute to Majors Packers target of £1,000,000. He has even set up his own website www.philpacker.com to chronicle his bid to meet this target.

This rowing trip forms just a small part of the forthcoming challenges that await this veteran, which will include the marathon and climbing El Capitan in America.

Viv Turner of Secrets Marketing commented:

“The Help for Heroes charity is an extremely worthwhile cause which is why we lent our support for the event. Major Packer is an extraordinary gentleman and has not let his injuries stop him from setting his goals high.”

Secrets Clubs have lap dancing venues in prime locations across the capital and can offer packages for registered charities. Already supporting the Children with Leukaemia, Leukaemia Research and Spinal Research to name just a few, Secrets are always looking for new charities to help.
